The specialty · Chatham, OntarioLymphatic sculpting,
through cupping.
Your lymphatic system doesn't have a pump. Your heart moves blood on its own, but lymph only moves when you do, and when you've been sitting at a desk, sleeping badly, flying, or eating saltier than usual, it slows down and the fluid settles. That's the puffiness under your eyes at 7am and the heaviness in your legs at the end of a long shift.
Lymphatic sculpting gets it moving again, by hand and by cup. The result is a face that looks less swollen and more defined, and a body that feels lighter.

What it actually is
Moving fluid, not melting fat.
Your lymphatic system is a network of vessels and nodes that carries fluid, waste and immune cells around the body. Unlike your circulatory system, it has no pump of its own. It relies on movement, muscle contraction and manual stimulation to keep things flowing.
When it stalls, fluid pools in the tissue just under the skin. That's what puffiness is. It isn't fat, and it isn't permanent, which is exactly why it responds so quickly to being moved along.
A lymphatic sculpting session works that fluid toward the lymph nodes, where your body clears it naturally. The visible result is a face that looks tighter through the cheekbones and jaw, and a stomach or set of legs that feels noticeably less heavy. People describe it as looking like themselves on a good day.
It is a fluid treatment, not a fat treatment. Anyone who tells you a massage permanently changes your body composition is selling you something.
The method
Why I use cups instead of just hands.
It lifts, not presses
Hands push down into tissue. A cup creates gentle negative pressure that lifts the skin away from what's underneath, opening space in exactly the layer where lymph sits. It reaches the superficial fluid more directly than pressure alone.
It decongests
The same lift brings circulation to the surface and helps loosen the congestion that settles along the jaw and sides of the nose. It's why the treatment pairs so naturally with a facial rather than competing with one.
It's gliding, not static
The cups stay moving the whole time, at light suction, following the direction of drainage toward the nodes. That's what keeps it comfortable and why it doesn't leave the round marks people associate with cupping.
Good for
- Morning puffiness, especially under the eyes and along the jaw
- Looking sharper through the cheekbones before an event, wedding or shoot
- Heaviness in the legs after long shifts on your feet
- Bloating and that tight feeling across the stomach
- Congestion along the jawline and sides of the nose
- Feeling wrung out and needing an hour where nothing is asked of you
Not what it does
- It doesn't remove fat or permanently change your shape
- It isn't a treatment for diagnosed lymphedema. That needs a certified lymphedema therapist
- It isn't post-surgical care. See the practitioner your surgeon refers you to
- It won't “flush toxins” from your body. Your liver and kidneys do that. What it moves is fluid
- Results last days, not months
I'd rather tell you what this doesn't do than have you book it expecting something it was never going to give you.

What actually happens.
One client at a time, by appointment, at 199 King St W in downtown Chatham. The room is quiet from the moment you walk in.
Plan your visitWe talk first
What's going on, what you're hoping for, anything medical I should know about, and any allergies or sensitivities to essential oils. This is also where I'll tell you if lymphatic work isn't the right call today.
We open the drainage points
Lymphatic work starts at the neck and collarbone, not at the area you want to change. There's no point moving fluid toward a node that's still congested, so we clear the exit route first.
Then the cupping
Gliding, light suction, always in the direction of drainage. Face work is slower and more detailed. Body work covers the stomach, back, legs and arms with longer strokes.
Afterward
Drink water and expect to use the bathroom more than usual for the rest of the day. That's the fluid leaving, and it's the treatment working exactly as intended. You'll look most sculpted for the next two to four days.

Questions I get asked
What does lymphatic sculpting actually feel like?
Light. That's the part that surprises people. Lymphatic work sits just under the skin, not down in the muscle, so there's no deep pressure and nothing that should ever hurt. The cups create a gentle suction that glides rather than digs. Most people find it more relaxing than a regular massage, and a fair few fall asleep.
How long do the results last?
Honestly? Days, not months. You're moving fluid, not removing fat or changing your bone structure. Most people look most sculpted for two to four days afterward, which is exactly why it gets booked before weddings, photos and events. Regular sessions hold it better than one-offs.
Is this the same as manual lymphatic drainage from a massage therapist?
Related, but not the same, and it's worth being clear about the difference. Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) performed by a registered massage therapist or a certified lymphedema therapist is a clinical treatment, often for post-surgical swelling or diagnosed lymphedema. What I do is aesthetic: cupping-based drainage for puffiness and contour. If you have diagnosed lymphedema or you're recovering from surgery, see a certified lymphedema therapist, not me.
Will it leave marks like the round cupping bruises I've seen?
No. Those circular marks come from static cupping, where the cup sits in one place under strong suction. Everything I do is moving, gliding cupping at light suction. You might leave a little pink for an hour or so, the way skin flushes after any massage, and that's it.
Can I get it with a facial?
Yes, and it's the most popular way to book it. The Lymphatic + Facial Treatment is a full customized facial with drainage built in, so you get the skin benefits and the de-puffing in one appointment.
Who shouldn't book this?
Facial cupping isn't recommended over active acne, because the suction can aggravate inflamed breakouts. It's also not appropriate if you're pregnant, have a blood clotting disorder, are on blood thinners, have an active infection or fever, or have a history of lymphedema, DVT, kidney or heart conditions without clearing it with your doctor first. Tell me what's going on when you book and I'll tell you honestly if it's a fit.
